M&G (Pink Stripe) is a playful tribute to two of Disney’s most recognisable characters. Encapsulating the artist Carl Stimpson’s love of popular culture, the artwork is produced using simplified lines and shapes, which give the subject matter a contemporary twist. We love how Stimpson has disrupted the canvas with a bold peach strip across the centre of the image, obscuring the iconic features of Mickey Mouse in a humorous fashion.
