FAQ's

Payment information

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro. We also accept payment via Apple Pay, and Shop Pay.

Payment will be taken as soon as your order has been placed.

Framing

Can I get my artwork framed?

Yes! We work with a network of expert framers, and you can add a selection of frames to an artwork on the artwork page.

Please see our framing page for more details, as well as information on additional styles that we can offer.

If you are shipping internationally, please contact us on support@artrepublic.com first, so we can help you with any specialist shipping quotes you might need.

Can I arrange my own framing?

You can, but we recommend waiting until you receive your print before arranging any framing. This is because there can be slight variation in the measurements on our website and the artwork you receive.

Delivery and returns

How much does delivery cost?

UK delivery is free on orders over £100. Framed artworks cost £9.50 and we can only ship these within the UK. We also offer Pick up from our studio. Worldwide delivery is dependent on location.

For more information on delivery costs, head to our delivery page.

How will you pack my artwork?

Unframed prints are hand rolled in and shipped in a rigid postal tube. In most cases, you can choose for your artwork to be sent flat-packed for an additional charge.

Framed artwork is sent by specialist courier and packed to protect the corners of the frame and the glass.

See our delivery page for more information.

How long will it take for my artwork to arrive?

We aim to dispatch unframed artwork within 10 working days of receiving your order. Postage within the UK takes around 1-3 working days.

Custom framed items are usually dispatched within 21 working days of receiving your order.

For more information, see our delivery page.

How can I track my order?

If you have an account, you can log in and see the progress of your order.

Our customer service team will also keep you up to date via email, including sending out shipping confirmation and any tracking numbers.

Can I add additional items to an existing order?

Yes, you can call or email our Customer Service team to do this.

For security reasons, we don't store any credit card details, so we'll need to take them again.

Alternatively, you can place a new order through the website, then contact our Customer Service team. We can usually arrange for your orders to be sent together.

What is your returns policy?

Once you receive your artwork, you have 30 days to return it and get a full refund if you're not happy.

If you would like to return an artwork, please contact us first at support@artrepublic.com. It is your responsibility to cover the return postage.

Our returns' policy excludes items that are hand-made to order, such as artwork that has been framed, purchased as part of a timed release, or commissioned. These can only be returned if they are faulty.

What happens if my order is damaged?

If your packaging is noticeably damaged, please reject the delivery. It will then be returned to us. If you have already accepted the delivery, you will need to contact us within 3 working days of receiving your artwork to be eligible for a replacement or refund.

It's very helpful if you can take photographs of the unopened packaging, and you should keep the artwork in the original packaging until we resolve the issue.

If an artwork arrives damaged but there is no damage to the outer packaging, please contact us at hello@artrepublic.com with photographs of the artwork.

General questions

What is a limited edition or an open edition artwork?

A limited edition artwork means that only a limited number can or will be produced. The edition size tells you how many artworks will be produced. Generally, a smaller edition size means it's rarer, and usually more expensive.

With open editions, there is no limit on the number of reproductions produced.

Can you help me find artwork that isn't listed on your website?

Yes, we'd love to help with this.

If you are looking for something in particular by an artist we work with, or if you need help finding the perfect piece, just email us at hello@artrepublic.com. This also applies to artworks you're interested in that are sold out or out of print.

Where do your artworks come from?

We work directly with our community of artists, as well as several carefully vetted private collectors, galleries, and dealers.

Increasingly, we are supporting artists to produce new and exclusive editions for the artrepublic community. We also help our collectors with artist commissions.

Anyone selling with Art Republic goes through bank-standard identity checks, so we know they are trusted sellers.

What does Art Republic do with my personal information?

We have a strict policy of not releasing any personal information to outside companies. The only exceptions are our online payment providers, so we can process your payment, and suppliers who are responsible for sending your order to you.

We do use customer information to improve the user experience on our website and to keep customers informed about Art Republic and the art world. Please read our Privacy Policy for more details.
