Unframed prints are hand rolled in and shipped in a rigid postal tube. In most cases you can choose for your artwork to be sent flat-packed, which comes at an additional charge.

Framed artworks are sent by specialist courier and packed to protect the corners of the frame and the glass.

Please see our delivery page for more information.

We aim to dispatch unframed prints within 7 working days of receiving your order and postage within the UK takes 1-3 working days. Custom framed items are usually dispatched 14 days after we receive your order. For more information, please see our delivery page.

If you have an account you can login and see the progress of your order. Our customer service team will also keep you up to date via email, including sending out shipping confirmation and any tracking numbers.

This is usually possible but you will need to call or email our Customer Service team to do this. For security reasons we do not store any credit card details so you will need to resupply these.

Alternatively, you can place a new order through the website, and if you want them to be sent together you can contact our Customer Service team, who are usually able to arrange this.

Once you receive your artwork, you have 14 days to return it if you are not happy with your purchase. Provided the artwork is still in the same condition, we will reimburse you fully, although it is your responsibility to cover return postage. If you would like to return an artwork, please contact us first at

Our returns policy excludes items that are hand-made to order, such as artwork that has been framed, purchased as part of a timed release, or commissioned. These cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

If your packaging is noticeably damaged in the first instance you should reject the delivery for it to be returned to us.  If you have accepted the delivery, you will need to contact us within 3 working days of receipt of the damaged goods to be eligible for a replacement or refund. We will then contact you with the full details about the refund or replacement procedure.

It is very helpful if you can take photographs of the unopened packaging and you should keep the piece in the original packaging until we’ve been able to discuss the issue with you.

You can add our most popular frames to an artwork on the artwork product page. Please see our framing page for more details, as well as information on additional styles that we can offer via our customer service team.

If you are shipping internationally, please contact our customer service team who can assist you and obtain specialist shipping quotes where required.

You can, but we recommend waiting until you receive your print before arranging any framing. This is because there can be slight variation in the measurements on our website and the artwork you receive.

A limited edition artwork means that only a limited number can or will be produced. The edition size tells you how many works will be produced. Generally, the smaller the edition size, the more expensive an artwork will be, as there are fewer (examples) in existence.

With open editions there is no limit on the number of reproductions produced.

If you are looking for something in particular by an artist we work with, or if you need help finding the perfect piece, please email us at This also applies to artworks which are sold out or out of print.

To provide exceptional artworks for all homes and budgets, we work directly with our ever-growing community of artists as well as a small number of carefully vetted private collectors, galleries, and dealers. Increasingly, we are supporting artists to produce new and exclusive editions for the artrepublic community. We also help our collectors with artist commissions.

Anyone selling with artrepublic will go through bank-standard identity checks so we know they are trusted sellers.

We have a strict policy of not releasing any personal information to outside companies. The only exceptions are our online payment providers, so we can process your payment, and suppliers who are responsible for sending your order to you.  We do use customer information to improve the user experience on our website and to keep customers informed about artrepublic and the art world. Please read our Privacy Policy for more detail.
