We are committed to showcasing a diverse range of artists. At artrepublic, you’ll find world-famous artists such as Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin and Banksy, right through to talented new artists at the very start of their careers, with prices starting from £50. Each and every one of our artworks has been handpicked by the artrepublic team.

To provide exceptional artworks for all homes and budgets, we work directly with our ever-growing community of artists as well as a small number of carefully vetted galleries, dealers, and collectors. Increasingly, we are working with artists to produce new and exclusive editions for the artrepublic community. We also help our collectors to commission works directly from hand-picked artists

We think buying art should be as easy as buying anything else online. We offer a straightforward bespoke framing service so your artwork arrives ready to hang on your wall and we partner with Klarna so you can spread the cost of your purchase. Meet The Team

Charlotte Bearn

Managing Director

Part of the team since November 2018

Charlotte oversees everything from marketing to new artists, and is particularly involved with our  website development and digital marketing. She is an art enthusiast with a background in growing technology and product startups and scaleups. Before joining us, Charlotte worked for luxury tech/travel brand Onefinestay, food startup Charlie Bigham's and launched startups-for-good at Behavioural Insights Ventures.

Jenny Shepherd

Head of Commercial Operations

Part of the team since September 2019

Jenny oversees all aspects of our operation, from our logistics and customer service to internal operations and commercial projects. Before joining the team, Jenny worked with Paddle8 for over five years, laterly as Head of Curated Auctions. While working there, she oversaw hundreds of auctions and worked with artists, private collectors and galleries alike.

Rob Jones

Head of Sales & Business Development

Part of the team since November 2019

Rob oversees our artist liaison and sales teams to help buyers find artworks they love, and artists to find audiences who are excited about their work. He also liaises with our other suppliers and secondary market sellers. Before joining us, Rob worked as an Editions expert for some of the worlds’ leading auction houses and is experienced across all sectors of the art market.

Ben Edmonds

Senior Artist Liaison Manager

Part of the team since 2009

Ben specialises in artist management and publishing editions and loves developing long-standing relationships with artists. He has over 10 years of experience in the art industry, with a successful record of developing emerging talent and launching the careers of a wide range of artists.

Alexia Commatas

Operations Manager

Part of the team since April 2021

Alexia manages the seamless delivery of artworks to buyers, working closely with our framing partners, our artists and sales team. With a background in logistics, she has worked in art galleries across London and uses her expertise to ensure the artrepublic operation runs smoothly. 

Celeste Camilleri

Artist & Supplier Liaison

Part of the team since September 2020

Celeste scouts for new artists to join our community, guiding them through the artrepublic onboarding. She also looks after our private sellers. After gaining a degree in Photography, Celeste went on to complete a Masters in Experience Design before taking her first steps into a career in the Arts.

Sarah Walfisz

Sales Coordinator

Part of the team since June 2021

Sarah responds to our sales inquiries and supports buyers looking to purchase, source or commission artworks. She also looks after new and existing partnerships to help bring our artists a wider audience. Before joining us, she worked as a Communications Assistant for a youth charity.

Rebecca Cox

Social Media Coordinator

Part of the team since August 2020

Rebecca is in charge of all our social media and marketing campaigns. With a background in art and design, she uses her knowledge to promote artists and artworks through our newsletters and engages with our wider community via instagram and other social media.

Jacob Williams

Collector Services Coordinator

Part of the team since June 2021

Jacob responds to our customer queries and ensures that our buyers are kept informed every step of the way. Before joining, he interned at the V&A and has an MA in Arts and Cultural Management from King’s College London.

Harriet O’Hegarty

Art Handler

Part of the team since April 2021

Harriet carefully packs and ships artwork out to our customers, unpacking deliveries we receive from our artists and carefully checking the condition of each and every piece. Before joining us, Harriet graduated from Loughborough University where she studied Fine Art.

Hebe Field

E-commerce & Merchandising Coordinator

Part of the team since August 2020

Hebe ensures that our website is up-to-date so people can easily find the art they love. She also works on  editorial content. Before working with us, she graduated from Bristol University with a degree in History of Art.
