Zoe lives and works in London, UK, and is a contemporary artist who predominantly works with oil paints in a photo-realist style. She is inspired by the concept of painting versus photography.
Zoe’s artwork is often focused around famous icons and superheroes which she frequently juxtaposes with surprising and completely out-of-character elements. We love the humorous narrative within each composition, achieved by blurring the everyday with the fictional, alongside her own Pop Art style. Zoe received a BA Hons in Fine Art from the University of Central Lancashire. She has been widely exhibited across the UK, appearing at the Royal Academy Summer exhibition, Cork Street Gallery, and the National Open Art competition. The artist has been shortlisted for many exhibitions including the BP portrait prize and John Moores Painting prize. Additionally, Zoe has been featured in the publication ‘Who’s Who in Art’. We’ve been working with Zoe Moss since 2014.
We love the humorous narrative within each composition of Zoe's, achieved by blurring the everyday with the fictional alongside her own Pop Art style. Her artworks are an astute commentary on the influence of social media and popular culture on mass opinion. Often referencing nostalgic toys like Lego figures or My Little Pony, Zoe juxtaposes these innocent elements of our childhood with the technological apps that dominate our lives today.
