Contemporary street artist Eelus is known for his vivid prints and murals, which delicately balance light and dark, to draw out the beauty in the banal. From pop culture to portraiture, Eelus explores the vibrancy of urban life through his bold, graphic aesthetic, bringing colour and character to grey city streets in vast, expressive murals. Suspender depicts a woman suspended from intertwining, multicoloured cords, held delicately poised in mid-air.
Suffused with an ethereal quality, Eelus offsets the monochrome subject against a deep purple background, for a breathtaking interplay of colour and shade. Not to be missed, Suspender is a bold and beautiful piece from one of the UK's most sought after street artists.
A timed release print is when a print is made available for a set time, in this case 48 hours only. The edition size is determined by how many prints are purchased. The print will only be available during the 15 - 17th of August 2017.
Please note that production of prints will begin after the timed release has ended. Delivery is expected to begin at the end of August / beginning of September. Due to being framed with glass prints are available to UK mainland only.
Your print will be beautifully shadow float mounted onto a white backing board in a Hand Crafted Smooth matt white wooden box frame. Frame profile measures 25mm face on by 34mm deep
Shadow Floating is a method used to beautifully mount artwork onto a foam core using Artcare Restore - a fully archival and reversible mount. The result is the artwork appearing to float securely and completely flat upon a backing mount board - creating a wonderful shadow around the edges of the paper. This process is of museum standard. There is generally a 3cm distance between the edge of the paper and the inside of the frame.
30% Discount is applicable to framing only.

Eelus is a street artist that combines iconic pop culture imagery, art historical references and elements of graphic design to create vibrant artworks. Each of Eelus’ artworks are full of contradictions: between light and dark, good and evil.
Balancing the opposing forces of vivid colour and stark monochrome, we love how Eelus’ work brings the beautiful and sometimes caustic realities of the world together. Eelus’ career had an unconventional start. As a child, the artist would sell drawings of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to other pupils in the playground for a small profit. After moving to London from the north of England, Eelus discovered the world of street art. After his art was discovered by Banksy, Eelus’ status as an artist was catapulted to new heights, and his first print sold in record time. His artwork is now exhibited worldwide.
We love how Eelus uses bold colours to highlight his dramatic figures. Eelus's artwork is a celebration of the bold and the beautiful, and his vibrant block colours are a delight to the eye. Eelus mixes macabre imagery of ballerinas in bear traps and women in danger with bright and joyful colours. This contradiction adds another layer of dimension to Eelus' artwork.
