Electric Mick - Two by Kate Gibb

About The Artist - Kate Gibb

Kate Gibb has worked as a printmaker and illustrator for over fifteen years, based at her print studio in Paddington, London. Her early studies in printed textiles fuelled her inherent love of colour and pattern, which continually provide the basis for the majority of her art prints. As a self-taught artist, Kate Gibb is inspired by the silkscreen process, the random hiccups and ‘happy accidents’ that happen within this process.

Commercially she is renowned for her Music related sleeve artworks, notably for her relationship with ‘The Chemical Brothers’ - but her clients also include brands such as Apple, Nike, Stussy, Dries Van Noten and Adidas Originals.
