Euan Roberts is a Hastings-based artist whose work aims to capture the unremarkable. His simplistic works transform the mundane into works of art that carry a hopeful and optimistic message.
Euan creates often nonsensical works that are simultaneously humorous and profound, sparking joy in the viewer. Euan says of his work: “I want my pictures to be visual mantras for the viewer. Lifting them up, dusting them down and telling them to keep going.” We love how the simplicity of his work allows the pure delight of painting to shine through. Euan finds most pleasure in encouraging people to pick up a paint brush and start creating themselves. Euan has participated in a variety of successful exhibitions. His first group show Launch was held by OTHER Syndicate in 2015, and since then he has gone from strength to strength. He was asked by Shangri-la to take part in their 10 year anniversary celebrations at Glastonbury, and has held two solo shows at Waluso Gallery. Euan also makes his own clothing, screen printing his designs onto t-shirts and hoodies. Recently, he has opened his own gallery dedicated to promoting diverse and emerging talent. We’ve been working with Euan Roberts since 2016.

His passion for art is evident in his joyful compositions, evoking an innocence that is reminiscent of childhood daydreams and stories. Euan's simple yet bold artworks are full of humour and positivity, and will never fail to put a smile on your face.
What is Archival Giclée
Giclée (/ʒiːˈkleɪ/ zhee-KLAY) is a neologism, ultimately derived from the French word gicleur, coined in 1991 by printmaker Jack Duganne for fine art digital prints made using inkjet printers. The name was originally applied to fine art prints created on a modified Iris printer in a process invented in the late 1980s. It has since been used widely to mean any fine-art printing, usually archival, printed by inkjet. It is often used by artists, galleries, and print shops for their high quality printing, but is also used generically for art printing of any quality.
