Iconic British artist Sir Peter Blake has attracted the attention of this year’s big winner Adele.
Not only did Sir Peter Blake design this year’s stunning Brit Award statue but his Pop imagery was also used as the muse for the design of the set. Peter Bingemann set designer took inspiration from Sir Peter Blake’s imagery an created a series of different sized white box frames filled with artefacts and props with two LED screens, also ensconced in box frames.
An excitable Adele can be seen interviewed after her performance holding her new statues mentioning that she already is the proud owner of some of Sir Peter Blake's work. It seems quite appropriate that the receiver of the most awards of the evening would actually be a collector of the artists work.
We are sure Adele has plenty to be happy about recently, and these extra Sir Peter Blake additions definitely be a fantastic memento of the big win.
