Newton Blades is the husband and wife collaboration of Edd Pearman and Ceal Warnants. The duo explore a variety of creative ideas, from typography and illustrative works to haunting seascapes and abstracted portraits. Often taking existing works of art, Newton Blades reimagines the image by blurring and manipulating the existing painting.

The abstractions interrupt the interaction between artwork and viewer, leaving behind an eerie atmosphere that sets the viewer on edge. Regardless of whether the work is abstract or pictoral, their myriad of works captivate the eye and leave the audience yearning for a narrative that has been obscured by the artists.Both Edd and Ceal are graduates from the Royal College of Art. Their work is widely exhibited and collected across the UK.
