We love that Will transforms cityscapes and maps with his unique approach, allowing the viewer access to a whole new perspective on their favourite cities. Having worked for a while with gold leaf, Will has recently began to explore a new practice, creating cast maps from resin. Will is involved in every step of the process, right up to the framing. Will currently works from his studio in Brighton, carefully creating his prints by hand, meaning each one is completely unique work of art.
We love how each print is hand-finished using 24ct gold leaf by Will, which is applied to the surface of the print using a specialist glue which is also painted on to each piece by hand. The way the gold adheres to the print is different every time, rendering each composition unique.
