Eelus

Balancing the opposing forces of the humorous and macabre, vivid color and stark monochrome, Eelus’ work brings the beautiful and sometimes caustic realities of the world together. It all started when he was a kid, drawing posters of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to sell in the schoolyard so he could buy chocolate. He has now exhibited his art worldwide alongside some of the biggest names in the urban art scene, with the majority of his releases selling out incredibly fast.

WHAT WE LOVE

We love how Eelus uses bold colours to highlight his dramatic figures. Eelus's artwork is a celebration of the bold and the beautiful, and his vibrant block colours are a delight to the eye. Eelus mixes macabre imagery of ballerinas in bear traps and women in danger with bright and joyful colours. This contradiction adds another layer of dimension to Eelus' artwork.
