Contemporary artist Cassandra Yap merges beauty and sensuality in her limited edition prints like no other. Using photomontage techniques, Yap explores femininity and sexuality, using images of vintage pin-ups merged with gentle flora and fauna, delicate butterfly wings and exquisite colour palettes. Yet her aesthetic is unsettled with dark undertones: images of death and decay pervade her prints, for a rich and contemplative mood.
