Originally inspired by singer and dancer Josephine Baker and the Busby Berkeley film ‘The Gang’s All Here’ artist Shuby began creating street art, and since then, with further inspiration from the iconography of film posters from the 50’s and 60’s, retro advertising and pop images, Shuby has gone on to create incredible artwork which can be seen on the streets of Barcelona, Berlin, London and more, as well as in gallery shows, commercial spaces, and even the Venice Biennale.

We love how Shuby's bold and bright artworks pack a visual punch. The vibrant colours paired with vintage style imagery from the 50's and 60's is a visual delight. Their simple yet effective compositions are full of fun and personality, and they never fail to put a smile on our faces. Combining iconic and retro imagery, Shuby's artwork is bursting with vintage nostalgia.
