Ryan Callanan - the man behind iconic street print-artist RYCA - is known for his graphic creations and 3D crafts. Drawing on his career as a sign writer, Callanan works with a wide range of materials, incorporating glass, resin and gold leaf (amongst others) to create tactile works of art with a contemporary twist. Callanan’s work is distinguished by its merging of cultural references, taking one image or concept and transplanting it into the context of another, to create a sense of off-kilter familiarity.
