Your Words My Hands is a timed release by Rob Draper and is available to buy until Wednesday 18th August at 10pm. This is a personalisable artwork by Rob Draper in collaboration with GF Smith. In your choice of acrylic colours, Rob will paint a message of your choosing, whether it be song lyrics, a name, a date, a quote, it's up to you! We recommend submitting 3 or 4 lines of 9 letters per line maximum. The colours to choose from are as follows: Jet Black, Mint Green, Cyan Blue, Traffic Red or Neon Pink. You can use whatever words you like but the less you use the more effective the outcome will be. Please submit your colour choices and words in the 'gift note' text box in the checkout. "During lockdown in 2020 after cancelled and postponed projects I came up with the idea for Your words, my hands and was overwhelmed by the response. After speaking with Ben at Art Republic about taking the project and pushing it further with his expertise Your words, my hands, Part 2 is finally here. Rob received a degree in visual communication from the University of Central England. The artist has worked with a range of worldwide clients including The Golden Globes, Nike, Gap, Levi’s, Samsung, Penguin, Harper & Collins, WWF, and The Washington Post, among others. He lectures on art and design, and his artwork has been featured in worldwide publications including IdN International Designers Network Magazine, Design Taxi, UC Quarterly, The Design Museum London, and The Daily Mail, among others. We’ve been working with Rob Draper since 2015.
We love the intricacy and detail Rob pours into each of his creations. Inspired by the bold lines and colour of the Pop Art movement, his typography work holds a vibrant kinetic energy. Rob says of his artwork: "I love the idea of the contrast of the chaos and urgency of the lettering style mounted on the wall in someone’s perfectly tidy home or office." He succeeds in instilling his words with emotion and meaning, despite his compositions being so simple.
How long will it take for my artwork to arrive?
We aim to dispatch unframed artwork within 7 working days of receiving your order. Postage within the UK takes around 1-3 working days. Custom framed items are usually dispatched within 21 working days of receiving your order. For more information, see our delivery page.
What is your returns policy?
Once you receive your artwork, you have 14 days to return it and get a full refund if you're not happy. If you would like to return an artwork, please contact us first at support@artrepublic.com. It is your responsibility to cover the return postage. Our returns' policy excludes items that are hand-made to order, such as artwork that has been framed, purchased as part of a timed release, or commissioned. These can only be returned if they are faulty.
How much does delivery cost?
UK delivery is free on orders over £100. Framed artworks cost £15 and we can only ship these within the UK. We also offer pick up from our studio. Worldwide delivery is dependent on location. For more information on delivery costs, head to our delivery page.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro. We also accept payment via PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay and Klarna. We also offer financing through Own Art. Payment will be taken as soon as your order has been placed.
Can I get my artwork framed?
Yes! We work with a network of expert framers, and you can add a selection of frames to an artwork on the artwork page. Please see our framing page for more details, as well as information on additional styles that we can offer.
