Our Notes
Richmond Park, Dawn Deer is an awe-inspiring artwork by Emma Reynolds. Depicting silhouettes of deer against an urban cityscape, the artwork blurs the boundaries between nature and the modern world. Emma often paints directly onto the silkscreen itself to create beautiful works in her own signature style, and her detailed knowledge of the printing process shows through in her art.
We love how Emma uses bold brushstrokes to evoke the atmosphere of an early morning haze when the sun is just beginning to rise. The artwork’s pastel colour scheme makes this piece a calming addition to any room, offering an oasis from the stresses of everyday life.

We love how Emma carefully chooses colour schemes that ignite feelings of nostalgia in the viewer, creating an aura of reflection around her pieces. Her work is a celebration of the beauty and freedom to be found in cities and nature alike. After receiving a fine art degree from Bristol University and an MA in design for digital media, Emma went on to become a full-time motion graphics designer. Subsequently, Emma revisited her love of printmaking and it soon became her full time job. Emma is a keyholder at East London Printmakers in Mile End where most of her work is created. Her work has been exhibited across the UK at a variety of events including the Affordable Art Fair, the Festival of Print and the Illustration Fair. Her first solo exhibition was held at the Ply Gallery, Crouch End in 2017. We’ve been working with Emma Reynolds since 2019.
