From a limited edition of just 25, Masterpiece Plus is an artwork by graffiti artist Remi Rough. A giclée print on Somerset Velvet 330gsm paper, it is signed and numbered by the artist.
My mission is to break people’s conceptions of what graffiti writing can become. It’s such an important movement, being the only art movement in history to be created by and taken forward by children, that it deserves gravitas.

Our Notes
Masterpiece Plus is a striking artwork by graffiti artist Remi Rough. Depicting a rippling line in a rainbow of bright colours, this artwork is infused with the kinetic energy that is typical of Remi’s work. We love how Remi uses an ombre effect to blur his colours into one another so that cyan turns seamlessly into lime green and golden yellow into magenta.
The smaller size of this artwork makes it a perfect addition to a gallery wall or a way to add some colour to a smaller space. This piece is also the perfect way to bring the urban world inside and make a statement in your interior.

Remi Rough is an abstract artist who pushes the boundaries of shape and space, with his bold colour palette reminiscent of the graffiti art movement that the artist was heavily involved in during his youth.

Rough's striking compositions distil down the scenes of the city into kinetic geometric shapes that carry a ‘streetwise’ energy that harks back to his experience as a train writer in London in the 1980s. During this time, Rough garnered a reputation as an accomplished graffiti artist with his work decorating trains all over the city. We love how the graffiti influence is still present in Remi’s recent abstract work, visible in his use of bright colours and bold intersecting shapes. Rough has been part of London’s art scene for more that 25 years. The work once seen on the side of trains has now been exhibited worldwide in places such as Berlin, New York, Tokyo, Paris and Miami. Rough has participated in multiple group exhibitions, and his solo shows include Home at Scream Gallery in 2015, Sound Pigments at Magda Danysz Gallery in Paris, 2017, and MOCA London’s Volume exhibition in 2018. Rough also participated in painting London’s largest mural along with other members of the Agents of Change.
