ARTIST STORY
Although much of his life has remained secret, Ralf is believed to live and work in London, UK. He is an illustrator and designer who is comfortable with an array of techniques: photography and digital manipulation, the traditional and old fashioned paper and pens, and whatever else is necessary to create artworks.

He is an illustrator and designer who is comfortable with an array of techniques: photography and digital manipulation, the traditional and old fashioned paper and pens, and whatever else is necessary to create artworks.
We love the bright artworks he creates, especially the use of popular cultural figures such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck or paintings like the Mona Lisa. Ralf studied art in London in the 1980s. He thrives on artistic freedom and draws inspiration from the world around him. His artworks express how he is unconstrained by style or medium. We’ve been working with Ralf Laurenson since 2019.

His Pop Art-esque artworks are simultaneously light-hearted, art historical and witty, and we especially enjoy the combination of old artwork and new compositions. Ralf is a master at giving new life to much-loved and famous artworks - but with a distinct twist that is unique to Ralf.
