Lead Belly’s artistic practice is concerned with the reworking of vintage source material to create original artwork and prints that effortlessly fuse notions of modernity and nostalgia. Carrying the torch of Pop Art boldly into the twenty-first century, the artist’s work is centred on the combination of polarities including; masculinity, femininity, aggression, passivity, love, race and gender, without presenting explicit, pre-conceived binary narratives. It happens sometimes. Your artwork arrives and just isn’t what you’re looking for. Simply email hello@artrepublic.com within 14 days of receiving it and we’ll arrange a replacement or return. Our returns policy excludes artworks that are made to order, such as artwork that has been custom framed, timed releases or commissioned artworks. These cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
