ARTIST STORY

Kristian Jones

Kristian is an artist and illustrator based in Birmingham. His surreal artworks play with the innocence of childhood imagination and the influence of technology on family dynamics. Kristian’s seemingly witty and light hearted illustrations have a sinister twist; Kristian uses his talents to highlight the downfalls of living in a modern society dictated by technology and social media. Kristian is a self-taught artist whose work has been featured in a number of publications.

We love how Kristian uses his background in advertising to help create clean and crisp artworks that are simple yet thought provoking. Kristian made his name crafting posters and artwork for alternative bands on the Birmingham music scene, and now uses the skills he picked up when creating his own artwork. Kristian's art is simple yet effective, allowing his meaningful narratives to do the talking.

It happens sometimes. Your artwork arrives and just isn’t what you’re looking for. Simply email hello@artrepublic.com within 14 days of receiving it and we’ll arrange a replacement or return. Our returns policy excludes artworks that are made to order, such as artwork that has been custom framed, timed releases or commissioned artworks. These cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
