ARTIST STORY
Mark Davies lives and practices in St Neots, UK, and is a contemporary artist who works with mixed media. Drawn to the digital world of colour and light, Mark loves to build specific narratives based on fairytales to create mesmerising compositions.
Mark Davies lives and practices in St Neots, UK, and is a contemporary artist who works with mixed media. Drawn to the digital world of colour and light, Mark loves to build specific narratives based on fairytales to create mesmerising compositions.
We love his ability to incorporate his own contemporary twists to these well-loved fairy tales and stories, recreating and reimagining the narrative without losing the essence of familiarity and a sense of nostalgia. Mark has exhibited across the UK, and has gallery representation around the world, from the UK to Europe and the USA. His artwork has been displayed and sold in venues such as the London Playhouse and Fortune Theatre in London’s West End. He has recently collaborated with Luvienz Caviar Edition Champagne for a charity auction and has participated in a range of charitable events and projects throughout his career. We’ve been working with Mark Davies since 2017.
We love Mark's ability to incorporate his own contemporary twists to well-loved fairy tales and stories. His artworks succeed in recreating and reimagining the narrative of these famous tales without losing the essence of familiarity and a sense of nostalgia. Regardless of whether the artwork is referencing a cult classic film, a well-loved superhero movie or a famous TV show, each piece is a homage to the film and television industry.
