Kristjana S Williams

Kristjana lives and works in West London, and is an Icelandic artist whose work is inspired by her childhood growing up looking over Iceland’s diverse yet stark landscapes of black sand and frozen seas. Her artworks are inspired by her love of wildlife, maps and botanical engravings. Kristjana graduated from Central St Martins with a degree in graphic design and illustration. Since then, she has collaborated with multiple brands including Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Liberty’s of London, Penhaligon’s, Paul Smith, V&A, and London’s Shard.

We love the way Kristjana's mystical and modern artwork incorporates digital and physical layering of nature upon nature, intertwining foliage with insects in a technique that aims to mirror our world of living things. Taking inspiration from her native Iceland, each of Kristjana's intricate artworks tell a unique story. It is up to the viewer to unravel the meaning of each piece, using our own personal stories to further the narrative.

Limited Edition

So you’ve found your perfect limited edition artwork, but what does this actually mean? Limited editions are original artworks that an artist creates in a particular print medium, such as a giclée print, screen print or photograph. Our limited edition artworks are specifically created by our talented artists with a maximum edition number in mind. The term ‘limited edition’ refers to the total number of artworks that are available for that particular piece. The edition size can vary widely between artworks, however most of the time our artists create editions in small numbers ranging from 10 to a few hundred.
