ARTIST STORY
Kate Brinkworth has always been fascinated by stories, devouring books as a young child, writing tales of her own and evolving as she grew up into a deep love of film, combining the two elements she thrives on the most: imagery and narrative.

Kate Brinkworth more recently has been using photographs that she has taken more instinctively over the last year. The text that she has been adding to them is instinctive too. The unconscious must play a role she hadn’t thought of before, as when these two elements come together they seem to from an answer for me, although to the viewer they may possibly stay as a mystery.
