We love James’ experimentation with bold colour and his original take on pop culture classics using neon inks. James’ work is an amalgamation of influences, from Swiss design to Bahaus to street art. The artist claims that “the driving force behind each composition always comes back to the freedom of creative expression and the platform to communicate messages.” Coming from the world of design, with over a decade of experience in the creative industry applying his trade to leading agencies and brands, James has turned his attention back to creating his own art. Pulling his first screenprint in July 2020, James has gone on to showcase his work at The Other Art Fair, DCon and Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair as well as displaying at various galleries across the UK and Europe. We’ve been working with James Kingman since 2021.
