Tourist Bored #8' is a giclée print by Jack Daly. From a limited edition of 50 this artwork is signed and numbered by the artist.
'Initially this project was created as a satirical series on how much beauty we experience through a phone, a truly noble and important endeavour I thought at the time. I wanted to show how incredible nature is, how amazing life can be if we pay attention to what’s already here and never runs out of battery. The whole thing taught me a lot about myself, how I only seem to know how to interact with the world when it’s to do with making something, how irony might be a defence mechanism (Sure!) And how nature, really is the very very best nicest thing. At least it kept me off my phone!'

Jack Daly's work focuses on conceptual photography, usually in a series format. Visually the work is colourful and humorous in appearance, often exploring a not so colourful concept within. His previous projects have explored the struggles of being masculine in “The Real Man Catalogue”, and the hunger for validation in a fictional hotline “The Validation Clinic”. His latest project, “Portraits of Ghosts”, is an exploration of death through portrait photographs of those who are no longer with us.
