‘Four Seasons’ is a portfolio containing 4 Giclée prints by acclaimed British artist Peter Blake, each hand finished with a Screen Print Glaze. All prints are signed by Peter Blake and presented in a bespoke, British Racing Green portfolio box with colophon and title pages.

Godfather of British pop art, Sir Peter Blake, is one of the twentieth-century’s most prolific modern artists. Employing an astonishing array of styles and techniques, Blake’s work is nothing short of iconic: from the famous ‘Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ album cover - a meticulous collage of cult characters - to his compelling oil painting ‘Self Portrait With Badges’, Blake has developed a well-established and well-loved style over the last half a century.

The newly released ‘Four Seasons’ box set features a print for each seasonal phase of the year. In true, Pop kitsch, Blake has used a mash-up of jarring styles: saturated, illustrative landscapes are populated by collaged characters, from Victoriana figures to 1950s pin-ups. A hint of surrealism has been blended with a sprinkling of tongue-in-cheek irony, for a truly unique, visually powerful series of limited edition prints.

Please note that the prints are in production with shipping estimated to begin the last week of August

Best known for the iconic album cover he produced for the Beatles 'Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band', Blake's work is inspired by his love affair with icons and the ephemera of popular culture.

He is continuing to produce a prolific output of work from his studio in west London maintaining his reputation and popularity with every artistic piece he creates. Peter Blake was born in 1932 in Dartford, Kent. He studied at Gravesend School of Art before earning a place at the prestigious Royal College of Art London in 1956. His love of art flourished as he built up a respectable portfolio of work through extensive travels across Europe and beyond.
