Donk lives and works in London, UK, and is a prolific street artist working anonymously to paste images onto the streets of London and beyond.
We love the way their images are inhabited by their family and friends with powerful themes such as vulnerability, human strength, and the passage of time, appealing to our collective senses and shared human experience. Donk remixes elements of urban culture and history to create accessible artworks in which he hopes to communicate “something sincere but ultimately entertaining.” Drawing inspiration from storybooks, he often alludes to the process of growing up. A further source of inspiration is his experience into fatherhood, with his son as a familiar subject in his artwork. We’ve been working with Donk since 2015.
