ARTIST STORY
Ellie’s work explores the fabricated nature of landscape by making a variety of temporary and non-invasive interventions in the forest, which place the viewer in the gap between reality and fantasy. Creating this space encourages the viewer to re-evaluate the way in which their relationship with the landscape is formed, and the extent to which it is a product of cultural heritage or personal experience. In her latest work, Half Light, water is a new element, a river that dissects the space with a false horizon, a barrier that separates us from the twilight forests beyond.

Our returns policy excludes artworks that are made to order, such as artwork that has been custom framed, timed releases or commissioned artworks. These cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
