I’m interested in everyday things that people collect, elevating the everyday into something jewel-like. I’m really drawn to vintage graphic design found in stamps, matchboxes, tins and firecracker boxes. There's an attention to detail you don’t always see now - and they often use more elaborate words and phrases.

We love how Charlotte has a particular affinity for depicting collections of objects, as they can bring together unusual combinations of items that make for perfect storytelling material. Charlotte studied for a Masters degree in Communications at Central Saint Martins, specialising in illustration. In addition to her success as a screen printer, Charlotte has also designed and created three books with Ilex Press: The Hipster Colouring Book, The Passive Aggressive Colouring Book and The Museum of Me Activity Book. We have been working with Charlotte Farmer since 2021.
