We love how Cassandra’s photomontage style creates an image that is wonderfully surreal, with a deliciously kinky twist. Images of skulls and skeletons are entangled with feminine images of scantily clad women and butterflies; Cassandra’s work a clever and effective amalgamation of dark and delicate images. Cassandra is originally from Singapore but now resides in London where her career as an artist has flourished. Her work has been featured in a variety of exhibitions including The London Illustration Fair, The Affordable Art Fair, Film 4’s Summer Screen Print show at Somerset House, as well as a group show at Wall Street Gallery in Los Angeles, and a solo show at Laylow Art Gallery in Palma de Mallorca. Commissions include a fashion story with Jez Tozer for Wonderland Magazine, a screen print project for baker Lily Vanilli, and a limited edition t-shirt design for Moussy Tokyo. We’ve been working with Cassandra Yap since 2015.

Her use of metallic and iridescent colours give her artworks an extra level of movement and depth; it is as if Cassandra's subject matter is poised to move off the page and into three dimensional space.
