Storm Thorgerson, was an English graphic designer best known for his inspired art prints and designs that graced over four decades of Pink Floyd album covers. He was also the sleeve designer for rock artists such as Ian Dury, Led Zeppelin and the Mars Volta. His trademark? Mixing surreal elements with reality and placing everyday objects out of context.
In the early nineties, Storm Thorgerson inaugurated Storm Studios, along with Peter Curzon – who were joined soon after by a group of freelancers. Together, they have created designs for many diverse projects including exhibitions, company logos, websites, typefaces, books and airships.
