Roger Broders (1883-1953) was a French illustrator and artist, best known for his creation of famous French travel posters. Using simple lines and bold flat areas of colour, his art prints promote tourism destinations across France.
Roger Broders' illustrations often depict people as elongated figures wearing elegant contemporary clothes, blending into the background of beautiful French mountains and seascapes. He utilises typically fashionable beaches of the Côte d'Azur, along with ski resorts in the French Alps.
From 1922 to 1932, he worked for the Paris Lyon Mediterranean Railroad Company (R.L.M.) creating many of their travel posters. Nowadays, these rarely available historically significant art prints are coveted by French collectors and fine poster connoisseurs everywhere.
