About The Artist - Liam Brazier

Illustrator and animator Liam Brazier works with cutting edge digital techniques to create a striking, illustrative aesthetic. His work involves a painstaking process of layering geometric blocks of colour together which, when assembled, achieve impressive levels of detail and complexity. Brazier’s digitally fused pieces capture light, tone and mood in a way that defies technological expectations, his work resembling soft, careful paint daubs rather than hard blocks of digital shape and colour.

His work draws on cultural iconography, often looking to retro film for inspiration, with references to Star Wars, Jaws, and Alien amongst his portfolio. With large scale commissions from clients that include Queens Of The Stone Age, Megadeth, Apple and Samsung, as well as featuring in Dazed and Confused, Glastonbury Festival and on Virgin TV, Brazier is at the forefront of contemporary digital processes in the art of illustration.
