Kristjana lives and works in West London, and is an Icelandic artist whose work is inspired by her childhood growing up looking over Iceland’s diverse yet stark landscapes of black sand and frozen seas.

We love the way her mystical and modern artwork incorporates digital and physical layering of nature upon nature, intertwining foliage with insects in a technique that aims to mirror our world of living things.
Kristjana graduated from Central St Martins with a degree in graphic design and illustration. She was the Creative Director of Beyond the Valley, a fashion and design store in West London. She has won numerous awards including a D&AD award, Clio Award, and a first prize at New York Festivals Grand Prix. Additionally, she has collaborated with multiple brands including Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Liberty’s of London, Penhaligon’s, Paul Smith, V&A, and London’s Shard.
