This precept guided his career, as John Constable developed a unique style, combining objective studies of nature with a deeply personal vision of the countryside around his boyhood home. Although his art prints are now among the most popular and valuable in British art, he was never financially successful and did not become a member of the establishment until he was elected to the Royal Academy at the age of 52. We have a beautiful range of art prints from John Constable, right here at artrepublic.
