Jane Sampson is an artist and a printmaker with a special interest in screen printing and photography. Inspired by old photographs, films and books, her style is unique and incorporates paint and pigment, collage, print and textiles, photography and computer generated images. Self-taught artist, Jane Sampson likes to learn by practicing, experimenting and making mistakes along the way. Founder of the studio ‘Ink Spot Press’, she works for herself and also teaches as the same time. “My job is to inspire and guide people along this path with the benefit of my experience”. She frequently exhibits at the Affordable Art Fair in London and Printfest in Cumbria, and won the John Purcell prize at the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers in London.
