Harland Miller

Harland Miller is a Yorkshire-born artist best known for his recreations of classical Penguin Book covers. Miller’s series of book-inspired paintings marry his two passions together: art and words. His sardonic statements are a witty reimagining of well-known novels, giving new life to classical writing. Miller’s artworks further enrich the history of these books, but with a signature twist.

Harland Miller was born in Yorkshire, UK, and now lives and works in London. He is also a successful writer, having published numerous books. Miller has exhibited his paintings across the UK, appearing the The RA Summer Exhibition three times, and hosting solo exhibitions at York Art Gallery and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art to name a few.
