Gleyeson is influenced by the representation of occult, mystical and new age ideas in pre internet media, and believes that magic exists in popular culture’s incidental detritus. Gleyeson uses digital collage to create images inspired by comic books from the 1960s to 1980s, as well as television, film, video games and toy packaging from this period. Gleyeson lives at the centre of the omniverse and often appears as a large snake in corporeal visions.
