She is fascinated by the interweaving journeys that we are on as ordinary people in the modern world. In her paintings, she captures the vibrancy of the landscape and at the same time the narratives of the individuals moving within it. Her recent paintings'The Heavens Series’ seeks to capture the sense of infinity and serenity we glimpse when looking out of aeroplane windows like angels from above. This series has taken on a new meaning during the global pandemic.
She regularly exhibits in London. In 2019 she exhibited at The Mall Galleries, The Affordable Art Fair, Olympia, The Barge House, The Old Truman Brewery and D Contemporary, Mayfair.She was ‘Artist and Illustrators’ magazine shortlisted Artists of the Year 2019.Frances also loves to paint portraits and recentlywon Sky Arts ‘Portrait of the Week’ 2020 for her portrait of Bernardine Evaristo, Booker Prize winner 2019.
She has just had a painting selected for 'The Royal Institute of Oil Painters' annual exhibition in November 2020 at the Mall Galleries
