Elmo Hood: Buy Artworks & Fine Art Prints

Elmo Hood - born in Southampton in 1989 and a resident of London. Self-taught artist, he turned to the art world to act as a coping mechanism after a family bereavement in 2011. Elmo Hood paints free hand and with stencils and his unique and colourful works of art combine spray paint, acrylic and methods of layering graffiti tags, symbols and paint splashes thus creating rich, stunning and eye catching works of art.

You could say his initial success was in part due to a collage he created out of two playing cards in 2013 which saw his name go viral and gain millions of shares and views as well as a celebrity following. Elmo Hood’s work has exhibited worldwide and his stunning works of art aim to c challenge preconceptions about urban art and pop art within the confines of a gallery but also in the public domain. More recently, Hood has taken London, Paris, New York, Ibiza and Munich in a multitude of Exhibitions as well as having his work auctioned off at the House of Parliament.
