“Through multiple stages of reworking & layering each canvas becomes taut & explosive. Mimicking punk, acid trips and pop art at first glance we prepare for a full rush of anarchistic free-play.What we in fact get is something much more nuanced, restrained & poetic- the rush is contained" - Dr Ben Cranfield, 2008
”Looking at Dan’s work is like meeting old friends for me,its fascinating to see Mickey and all the chaps used in a newer different way“ - Sir Peter Blake
