‘The Tortoise Who Wanted To Be a Ladybird’ is a striking hand embellished art print from Carl Moore, from an edition of only 25. Printed on 310gsm 100% Cotton Rag Paper these limited edition art prints are named, numbered and signed by the artist.

‘The Tortoise Who Wanted To Be a Ladybird’ is a brilliant piece from an ongoing series of digital collage artworks by Carl Moore titled Animals Pretending To Be Other Animals.
Carl Moore says of the series “My main concern is with the merging of the ridiculous and the representational, the end result being to create a series of prints and paintings which communicate a degree of pathos and also appear unsettlingly odd, playful, quite tragic and endearing.”
On a background of lime green this tortoise covered in black paint with red splotches and twig antennae, this tortoise striving to achieve his dream of being a ladybird makes for an outstanding print.
