Here, Sarah talks about one of her all time favourite artworks at Art Republic: 'Not My First Rodeo (11th ed.)', from the one and only Babak Ganjei: "I think Babak's artworks appeal to me as I have a dry sense of humour and enjoy his witty quips. This is one of my favourites as it has a direct tone and a bluntness in its humour and as someone who is partial to pastels, I love this choice of colour."
Isie lovingly and expertly packs and ships artwork to our customers, carefully checking the condition of each piece before it is sent to its new home.
Here, Isie tells us about her favourite artwork at Art Republic, 'Sea Change' by Hannah Thomas: "I love Hannah Thomas's work, her abstract pieces are so dreamlike and evocative, she really makes the most of colour and movement. Sea Change uses mostly earthy tones with this beautiful blue undercurrent running through the print which I adore. You can really see the brushstrokes used to create the image and that textural quality makes all of Hannah's prints so unique."

Here, he talks about his favourite artworks at Art Republic: David Spiller's 'Dreams Come True' and 'I'll See You In My Dreams', featuring the loveable cartoon duo that is Popeye and Olive Oyl: "I’m a big fan of artworks that incorporate cartoons and characters from pop culture. The layer of scrawled text adds a lot of energy to the print and makes it truly unique to the artist’s style. I love these artworks individually but couldn’t choose between them so had to choose them as a pair!"

Here, she tells us about one of her favourite artworks at Art Republic, 'Jungle Blooms 1' by Hannah Woodhouse, that just happens to match her trousers pretty perfectly: "I love how Hannah Woodhouse’s depictions of nature are driven by her imagination, with their beautifully bright colours and intricately patterned detailing. She evokes magical and otherworldly gardens that would be a joy to visit!"
Beccy leads our marketing strategies and campaigns, making sure we are always bringing you something new and exciting.
Here, Beccy talks about one of her favourite artists at Art Republic, Marcelina Amelia, particularly her beautiful piece titled 'How to Fill the Void': "I love Marcelina Amelia's work from this stunning piece to her other prints such as 'Detox', 'How to Live' and 'I Only Want Everything'. I think her work really speaks to me as they are so relatable with a humorous twist and not to mention they are stunning!"

Here, Marty tells us a bit about one of his favourite works at Art Republic: 'Danger Mouse' by Opake: "Pure nostalgia! This reminds me the never ending battle of Tom and Jerry and their inventive approach to always one-upping each other. They don't make cartoons like this anymore, understandably, but a real memory cord was twanged!"
