Louise McNaught’s original pencil drawing really captures the majesty of the Polar bear as well as it’s fragility. The melting polar ice caps have made the Polar bears hostile northern home even more hostile and their numbers are dwindling. Louise has said the drips of florescent colour in this image are a hint at the impact of the melting ice on the majestic and enigmatic polar bear.
Each giclee print on Somerset Velvet 330gsm paper then has a silkscreen of the colour added and is part of a signed limited of only 25.
