The London Art Fair 2015: 21-25 January

The 27th edition of the London Art Fair will officially launch the art world year in the UK this month with a multitude of exquisite work on show. The Main Fair will bring together over 120 leading galleries from across the UK and overseas.

It will be presenting exceptional modern British art alongside contemporary work produced by both established artists and new upcoming, emerging talent. Our Brighton based sister gallery ink_d promise a spectacular return to this years Main Fair which takes place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. Established in 2007, ink_d displays the cream of collectable and affordable art, with a diverse range of painting, prints, sculpture and ceramics. The gallery has a strong ethos that supports and nurtures local talent alongside rising stars and established artists.

The ink_d London Art Fair stand (G12) will be showing many new and exclusive works from artists including Dan Baldwin, Enzo Marra, Ian Hodgson, Carrie Reichardt, Carne Griffiths, Sarah Shaw, Jake Wood-Evans, Ryan Callanan, Matt Smith, Paul Scott, Mike Ballard, Tom French, Pure Evil, Nick Walker & more! There will also be an new print on offer from Magnus Gjoen, which will be available exclusively from the stand.

Familiar faces from the friendly team at ink_d will be at the fair all week and will be on hand to offer sage advice about collecting, investing, framing and all this contemporary art. So ensure you pop by ink_d at stand G12 to take in some of the fabulous work on display.

    Alongside the Main Fair London Art Fair 2015’s museum partner Pallant House Gallery will be showing key works from their permanent collection in 'The Figure in Modern British Art', a unique exhibition housed in a pavilion space at the front of the Fair. The collection includes works by Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicholson, John Piper, Eduardo Paolozzi, Richard Hamilton and Patrick Caulfield.

    Also taking place will be Photo50, a guest-curated exhibition of contemporary photography featuring fifty works. It is located within London Art Fair on the second level and provides a critical showcase of some of the most interesting and distinctive elements of current photographic practice. Talks from a number of esteemed artists, critics, gallerists and collectors be taking place over the course of the week and will be free to attend with a Fair ticket.

    The London Art Fair is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy exceptional art from over 1,000 leading artists in one location. On Thursday 22nd January the doors will be kept open until late, giving guests the chance to browse art work while enjoying complimentary drinks, talks and performances.
