A family afternoon with tea, cake and colouring in our Brighton Gallery. If you’ve recently visited our Brighton Gallery you may have seen that we’ve been selling raffle tickets to win a fabulous prize of one of Sir Peter Blake’s Brighton box sets of prints. The prize draw, taking place on Thursday 28th September, is to raise much-needed funds for Middle Street primary school in Brighton, who require backing after much of their budget was slashed during finance cuts. The money raised will go towards building maintenance and will also fund technology equipment such as computers and their art department.
Ticket will still be available for £20 a strip up until the draw. Between 4pm - 6pm there will be colouring activities for the children with afternoon tea and cake. The prize draw will take place during this time and as a further act of goodwill, we’ll be donating 20% of all sales from the day to Middle Street School. For further information on the prize draw or gallery afternoon please our Brighton Gallery on 01273 724829 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Peter Blake, who is widely known as the Godfather of Pop Art, kindly donated the portfolio of prints and has previously visited the school. We're inviting friends of the gallery, collectors, Middle Street pupils, teachers and parents, as well as anyone else who is keen to come along for the afternoon.
