Following his recent solo show at Ink’d gallery we have 6 gorgeous new Carne Griffiths prints in the Brighton gallery.
His unique style of drawing has proved very popular. Working using a type of automatic drawing, he draws freely allowing the image of a figure to emerge from the page surrounded by beautiful foliage. He uses traditional inks mixed with other substances such as tea and brandy, creating a very fluid feel to his prints. The new prints include a triptych titled Immortal embellished with gold, silver and copper leaf, Comfort, Guilt and Fragment all in small editions. The warm earthy tones he uses make them a perfect autumn treat for this time of year.
